Collection #1

Etude Collection #1 was born out of my desire to develop more familiarity with vocabulary in thumb position on chord changes that move key centers, slow and fast. There are a variety of techniques to explore on these etudes, including shifts in thumb position, transitioning in and out of thumb position, and expanding and retracting hand shapes. This collection also provides excellent exercise in reading treble clef and high register bass clef!
